Why should my restaurant participate?
The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival (BRBF) provides your restaurant with:
- The ability to profit by selling bacon-inspired food items while promoting your restaurant.
- The opportunity to earn international bragging rights that your restaurant was specially selected to participate in the world’s premier bacon festival.
- A great greasy time! Enjoy the live music, entertainment and have a few beers.
Did you say profit?
Yes, we did. And, it’s simple. If your application is approved, your booth fee check of $150 will be deposited. On the day of the event, your restaurant will be provided with 100 square feet of booth space to prepare and serve your bacon-inspired menu items. Your restaurant will sell your bacon inspired menu items via Bacon Bucks (sold via BRBF). BRBF will retain 30% and the restaurant will retain 70%. This will be settled up at the end of the day.
